WHAT’S ON?

Whilst we love to see people involved in all of our different groups and ministries (make sure you join a Growth Group – it’s one of the most valuable groups you will ever be a part of!), we also want to make sure that nobody is so busy with “church stuff” that they don’t have time to be involved in their local community.
Our mission is to saturate South Grafton and surrounds with the love of Jesus. So please make sure you leave plenty of time to be a part of your local community – play a sport, join a hobby group, volunteer, go out for coffee with friends – bring some light to the real world, not just your church.
CONNECT SMALL GROUPS
What is a Connect Small Group?!? It’s one of the most valuable groups you can ever be involved in as a a follower of Jesus! Connect Small Groups are simply small groups of people that meet (usually weekly) to study God’s word together, pray for one another, and do life honestly together. Connect Small Groups enable us to get to know one another in a smaller setting than the Sunday gathering, to encourage one another, to share with one another and to grow in our love for Christ.
We have small groups for all different ages and stages at Connect – please check the most recent bulletin for times and venues. If you would like to join a small group (or start a new one!), please speak to Jason, one of the elders or a small group leader.

PRAYER MEETINGS
As a church that esteems God’s word, we place a massive emphasis on the importance of personal and public prayer. As such, we would encourage you all to continue to cultivate your own personal prayer life. As a church family, we continue to prioritise praying together at our worship services, prayer meeting and via our prayer network.
The weekly prayer meeting maintains its commitment to pray for all people within our church, all ministries of the church, all missions we support, our community and our unreached family and friends.

Connect Meeting Room
MUSIC TEAM
The music team meets every Sunday at 9am in the Connect Hall to have a jam before the Sunday gathering. We are always looking for more willing singers and musos, so if you play an instrument or have a voice you’re willing to share with us as we worship our great God through music, please join us!

COMMUNITY CARE
We are so thankful to a have a bunch of people at Connect that really love serving practically and doing acts of kindness for people, both inside and outside our church community.
A few of the ways that Connect reaches out to our local community are through practical acts of kindness and food ministry (food hampers, food vouchers and frozen meals).
Please be thoughtful about ways you can contribute to community care, and contact Jason if you have any great ideas or would like to be involved.
