ABOUT JESUS

We believe God created all people to be in relationship with Him, and that is the very reason for our existence. However, our wrongdoing (sin) broke that relationship with God.

But God loved us so much that He sent His Son Jesus to repair that broken relationship. We believe that Jesus is God’s Son, and He lived a perfect life, and died on a cross as a perfect substitute for all our wrongdoing. But so importantly, God raised Jesus from the dead, and in doing so, overcame sin and death.

We call the Good News of the life, death and resurrection of Jesus the ‘Gospel’. We understand that it is only by believing in and confessing this Gospel of Jesus, that we are able to re-establish a right relationship with God. We have a deep desire at Connect to declare this amazing Gospel to our community.
